A video projector, paired with two rotating prisms housed within a tower, creates a captivating projection on the walls that emulates the sweeping light of a lighthouse over the ocean. This innovative design allows for a full 360° rotation of the projected images, bathing the surrounding space in a dynamic display of light and movement. The visuals depict dancing figures, distorted to evoke the enchanting form of sirens.
As the projection rotates, it reveals a series of ethereal shapes that twist and flow across the surfaces, capturing the essence of grace and enchantment. This installation invites viewers to engage in a unique interplay between technology and mythology, encouraging reflection on the stories and symbols that resonate within the dance of light.
During transport, the projection tower got stolen – this lead to the creation of the second version of the installation.
